What is Tai Chi?

Tai Chi is an internal martial art from China practiced for its health benefits, for meditation, and also as a martial art. It is a complete, whole-body exercise.

What style of Tai Chi do you teach?

We teach the Tai Chi and related arts brought to the West by Moy Lin-Shin (1931-1998). Master Moy modified the Tai Chi that he learnt from his teachers to maximise the health benefits.

Who is Tai Chi for?

Tai Chi is for everyone except children, who are already brimming over with vitality.

Tai Chi and Health

Tai Chi can maintain or even improve your health in a broad sense. In the Chinese view, health is about much more than cardiovascular fitness or having strong muscles; health is about good circulation in all the systems of your body. The body’s tissues should be strong, but also soft and resilient, like a baby’s.

Tai Chi can help to maintain, to improve, and to recover your health.
